About Orleans

Orleans is one of Ottawa’s fastest growing suburban districts, known for its friendly atmosphere and sizeable French-speaking population. Two secondary schools and seven grade schools, many of them Francophone, serve the community. Residents gather and shop at the Place d'Orleans shopping centre. The community has plenty of recreational space, park land, bike paths and a skating rink at the large Orléans Sportsplex. Downtown is just a ten minute drive away.
