In addition, the organization holds various events throughout the year.

Every fall, the Old Ottawa South Art and Music Festival is held in Windsor Park. Here you will find over 60 local and area artists. Along with great music, you will also find art, paintings, sculpture, photography, and great food from the local bakery "Life of Pie."

Parks and recreational space is abundant in Old Ottawa South. It is in close proximity to the Rideau Canal, offering many activities year-round.

Downtown is easily accessible from Old Ottawa South. Highway 417 is also in close proximity. OC Transpo runs often down Bank Street, via routes 1 and 7.
